Richard George Taraborelli Sr.

Richard George Taraborelli, Sr., 83, of Mesa, Arizona, died on June 16th, 2012. Richard was born on July 24, 1928 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After graduating high school, he proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He saw action in the Korean War and was decorated with the Purple Heart medal for his service. On September 11, 1954, he married his beloved Angeline Venditti, his wife whom he stood by for 57 years. His primary goal in life was providing for and caring for his family; he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

He is survived by his loving wife, Angel, by his daughters and sons-in-laws Gina and Duane Zaremba, Angela and Scott Marshall, and daughter Rosemary Brocious, all of the Mesa area. He is also survived by sons and daughters-in-laws John and Shirley Taraborelli of Phoenix, Dominic and Angel Taraborelli of Gilbert, and Rich and Gigi Taraborelli of Houston, TX. He also is survived by his sister and brother-in-law Josephine and Joe Bucciarelli of Philadelphia, PA, sisters Dolores Tennie of Peoria, AZ and Diane Taraborelli of Phoenix, and brother Ernest Taraborelli of Mesa.

Mr. Taraborelli leaves behind a great legacy of grandchildren: Ashley and Adam Taraborelli, Jarrod and Angelica Zaremba, Sarah and Valerie Taraborelli, Megan Taraborelli, Tabitha Garcia, Alicia Lemon, Anthony and Audra Marshall, Angeline Brocious, and great grandchildren: Mason Stanley, Cody Taraborelli, Arianna Vent, and Brendan Mason, and in loving memory, grandchild Adrian Taraborelli.
