

Rosemarie “Ree” McGrath, 68, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2025. Born on March 16, 1957, in Norristown, Pennsylvania, to Marie (Capperella) and the late Frank Genova. She moved with her family to Framingham, Massachusetts in 1970 and was a graduate of Framingham High School, class of 1975, where her infectious smile and enthusiastic energy were already hallmarks of her personality.
On September 21, 1990, Ree united her life with Robert “Bob” McGrath, beginning a beautiful journey of partnership and devotion. Their home in Milford, Massachusetts, was filled with laughter, love, and countless memories. In 2024, Ree and Bob embraced a new adventure together, relocating to Mesa, Arizona, where her radiant personality continued to shine in a new community.
Ree is lovingly remembered by her husband of 35 years, Bob, who was the love of her life, her two daughters: Krystal McKinney of Millersburg, Ohio, and Kimberly Marts (Greg) of Milford, Massachusetts, her brother Mike (Irene) Genova of Prescott Valley, Arizona, her sister Diane (Darnell) Genova of Mesa, Arizona, and her mother Marie Genova of Mesa, Arizona. She also leaves behind a nephew Mike Genova (Jennifer) of Bakersfield, California and five grandchildren: Peyton, Braylen, Keston, Dominic, and Riley.
Her joyful nature and fun-loving ways made her a source of light and laughter in every setting. From family gatherings to moments shared with friends, her smile could brighten a room, and her contagious unmistakable laugh could lift moods instantly. Her vibrant personality left a lasting impression, creating memories that continue to bring comfort and joy to her loved ones.
She had a love for the beach and a passion for cooking which brought joy to those around her, while her playful spirit had the remarkable ability to brighten even the heaviest of hearts. Her memory will live on in the stories retold, the laughter remembered, and the love she shared. She will be profoundly missed yet lovingly remembered by all whose lives she touched. May her laughter continue to echo in our hearts, and her light guide us forward.
A Celebration of Life honoring the memory of Ree will be planned for a future date. Details regarding the time and location will be shared with family and friends.
