Rudy was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother. He married Yolanda Pulido on December 1, 1963.
Together they began their life and family, moving through several small mining towns before settling in Kearny and eventually moved to Mesa, where they raised their four children.
Rudy devoted his life to his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was a dedicated family man who never missed his grandchildren’s activities and was always ready to lend a helping hand. He loved golfing and faithfully watched the Masters Tournament each year. He was an active member of the Lions Club and Elks Club and participated in many community events.
Rudy worked as a Branch Manager for Valley National Bank, serving the communities of Hayden, Globe, Kearny, and Mesa. He also spent time working at Farmers Insurance. He was well known and loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
After the passing of his beloved wife Yolanda in 2012, Rudy spent even more time golfing and cherishing moments with his family. He later met and married Yolanda “Yoli” Evangelista on June 24, 2017, and they made their home in Amado.
Rudy is survived by his loving wife, Yoli; his children Gina (Ruben) Serna, Rudy Pulido, Yvonne Dominguez, and Yvette (Alex) Fernandez. He was an adored “Tata” to Matthew (Richard), Jordan (Mikey), Timmy (Belinda), Alex Jr. (Selena), Alyssa (Heber), Gabby (Aiden), Tino, Nico, and D’Angelo; a proud great-grandfather to Sophia, Amaiah, Ria, Ellie, Alex II, Cairo, soon-to-arrive Scottie in July, and Alaia and his sister, Sophie (Johnny) Hinojos. He is also survived by his stepchildren Angel (Vivian), Christina (Johnny) and Myrna (John).
Rudy was preceded in death by his parents, Florentino and Artimisa; his first wife, Yolanda; sister, Cobie and his beloved dog, Sancho.
