Sharon M. “Shari” Barry, born May 2, 1943 in Berkeley, CA to Harry Kenneth and Frances Elizabeth [Abbott] McGuire, passed away August 2, 2017 in Mesa, AZ at the age of 74. Her life adventures included living in California, Florida and Arizona. Shari enjoyed writing, including her short book of poetry titled “Living Where?” which was published in 1996. She also loved playing Hearts. She held numerous careers and received many accolades during her lifetime. Shari was a Media Ad and Script Writer, a Radio Host and a Professional Voice for the majority of her life. She also worked as a Community Education Instructor at Shasta College, as well as a Social Worker and Liaison for the California State Assembly. Shari is survived by her sons, Nathan (Brittany) Dellamonica and Michael (Kristen) Barry and her granddaughter, Alexis Dellamonica.
