

Stephen Wayne Dixon, a resident of Mesa, Arizona, passed away on June 22, 2025, at the age of 65. Born in Washington, DC, on September 22, 1959, to Stephen Oliver Dixon and Ruby Pearl Driver Dixon, Steve was a man of hard work, honesty, loyalty, selflessness, wisdom, and integrity.
Steve graduated from Tarboro High School and furthered his education in Business Management and Leadership. In July 1977, he joined the Air Force as a missile technician, achieving the rank of staff sergeant before leaving the military in April 1983. He then embarked on a career in the trucking and fuel industry, working for Senergy Petroleum from 1993 until 2024.
Steve is survived by his children, Rebecca Dixon, Christopher Dixon; step-sons, TJ Lillo, and Kenny Lillo; father, Stephen Dixon; his grandchildren, Sydney Dixon, Samantha Dixon, James Lillo, and Cooper Lillo; and his sister, Sandy Terrell.
In his personal time, Steve enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, and barbequing. Also enjoying watching any sports, that were his favorite teams such as Steelers, Diamondbacks, Dale Earnhardt. His life was a testament to his dedication and integrity, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him.
Steve will be laid to rest privately at Mariposa Gardens. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at 10:00am at Mariposa Gardens; 6747 E. Broadway Rd. Mesa, Arizona 85206. Refreshments will be available for guests to gather from 9:30am - 11:30am.
