We were so blessed to share time with Andy and Steven  at our home here in Seattle. It was the best time. We love you both so much, and Steven will be greatly missed. Such a dear soul,  I consider it an honor to have known him. Love and miss you!!❤️‍🔥

Andy, I waited to reach out to you because I was struggling with the reality of this and to let you have time to grieve. Ron and I are saddened by the loss of such a wonderful man. Life asks entirely too much of us at times but all we can do is pray and trust in the Lord's plan for us. You are always in my thoughts and prayers. May God watch over you and yours always. Steve was always the one to keep friendships alive by staying in touch. We are grateful to have been in Steve's life for so many years, and we'll cherish those memories.

Andrew sending my heartfelt condolences for your loss.  So grateful for the years you two shared.  Steve was my number 2 favorite in the SSA agency.  A wonderful & compassionate person. Will always remember the cookout at your home & what a great host you two were.  Sorry I didn't keep in touch throughout the years I was out there visiting AZ.  I hope to do so in the future.

I recall Steve in his 'Milwaukee days' when we lived together, laughed together and made many friends.  I especially remember when Steve organized and orchestrated the Lavender Hill Fundraisers, the first of which he hosted in his backyard when he lived on Booth St. in Milwaukee.  Steve knew a good cause when he saw one and didn't
hesitate at all to support that cause.

I/we enjoyed and will always  remember a time we gathered  to visit in Palm Springs years ago.  I send heartfelt condolences to you Andrew, the Families, and Friends.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Andrew and Steven’s other Family.  my Partner, Joan and I spent time with Steve and Andrew in Mexico.  Andrew and I are Cousins.

My heart goes out to you all. I knew Steve well during our years together from '79 to '85, and I’ll always remember his activism in the gay community in Milwaukee.   He left a lasting impression on my life, and I am grateful for the memories. Thinking of you during this difficult time.
