Susanne C. Propst- Kueter

Susanne Clara Propst Kueter, 59, died June 7, 2014 in Tempe, AZ. She was born June 30, 1954 in Clear Lake, SD. She spent her childhood in Goodwin, SD and graduated from Clear Lake High School. Susanne obtained her BS from South Dakota State University and MS from the University of Wisconsin.

She married Larry Kueter on October 31, 1981. They lived in Sioux Falls, SD where she practiced as a dietitian and educator. They moved to Tempe, AZ in June, 1992. She continued her career at several sites in Arizona until retirement.

Susanne had a great appreciation for beauty. She loved experiencing the beauty of nature, be it the desert, mountains, or seashore. She appreciated man made beauty, whether performed on a stage, exhibited in a gallery, or prepared in a kitchen. Living in the city of Tempe provided many opportunities for her to enjoy these. She also, very much loved spending time with her own and Larry’s families. A person capable of much love, she will be dearly missed

She is survived by her husband, Larry, Tempe; mother, Ethel, Goodwin; three sisters: Joan (Jim) Theisen , Canby, MN; Lisa (Donny) Tesch , Watertown, SD; Nancy (David) Severson, Gary, SD; one brother Ralph Allan, Goodwin; and numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph, and a stillborn brother. Interment will be in Arizona with arrangements through Lakeshore Mortuary, Mesa, AZ. (www.LakeshoreMort.com).
