

Tammy Dorrine Faulkinbury Petty of Gilbert, AZ passed away on March 4, 2015 at Acuity Speciality Hospital Mesa, AZ with family and friends by her side. She is survived by her husband Bill Petty of Gilbert, AZ, her father, George Faulkinbury of Ardmore, Ok, her mother, Joretta Adams of Ridgecrest, CA , sisters, Tracy Keeley and her husband Tom Petty of Ridgecrest, CA, Terry Lyster and husband Kevin Lyster of Ridgecrest, CA , Lara Brunia of Mesa, AZ and brother, George Faulkinbury and his wife, Jessica of Ridgecrest, CA and many aunts, uncles ,cousins, nieces and nephews who adored her.
Tammy was born on August 13, 1961 in Phoenix, AZ and lived in Arizona all her life. She met her husband when she worked at Motorola in 1989 in Mesa Az and they married in 1993. She earned her Bachelor in Digital Media Management at ASU in 1998. Her latest position was at General Dynamics in Scottsdale, AZ where she worked until hospitalized.
She loved photography and had a very artistic flair. She was an amazing, gentle and loving person. Those who knew her loved and respected her. She was very family oriented and loved to participate in any and all family activities.
She supported the American Cancer Society by Climbing for the Cure, for the past 10 years, held the end of February each year at South Mountain Park in Phoenix, AZ. And supported the climb this year from her hospital bed. If you would like, in lieu of flowers a donation to the American Cancer Society in her name would be appreciated.
A celebration of her life memorial will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 10:30 am at Lakeshore Mortuary, 1815 S Dobson Rd Mesa, AZ. A Reception is to follow the service in the Mortuary Reception Room.
