He was born in St. Louis, MO, on July 3rd, 1929. Tom received a Master's of Divinity from Louisville Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. He was married to Mary Elizabeth Sergent on May 29th, 1953, at the Seminary Chapel.Tom had a long career as a minister for the Presbyterian Church. He supplied churches well into his 70's. Tom had a passion for hiking, exploring, reading, experiencing new things, and always strived for knowledge. He dearly loved his family and was a friend to all who met him.
Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary, and youngest son, Paul. He is survived by his other 3 children, Mary Lynn, Angela and her husband, Jim, John and his wife, Emily, 9 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
While we miss his physical presence, we know that his loving spirit is with us always.
