Virginia Durham Lempka, 91, of Mesa passed on Monday the 28th of May. She was born April 26, 1921 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Robert E. & Florence (Cooper) Jones. She moved to Arizona in 1943 from Cincinnati and touched many lives as a teacher at Mesa High, an artist, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Virginia is survived by her loving husband Richard, daughter Connie and son John. She was a volunteer for Mahnah Club for over 20 years and a member of the Mesa Art League. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday June 2nd, 2012 at the Melcher Mission Chapel, 6625 E. Main, Mesa, AZ. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 am.
