Family was the center of Wayne’s life. He spent the last 27 years married to the love of his life, Cindy Jo. They were first married on June 29, 1985, and a month later on July 28, 1985 they had another ceremony at Christ Lutheran Church in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Wayne and Cindy Jo made their commitment to each other even stronger on Valentine’s Day in 2006, when they renewed their vows in a covenant marriage. The devotion they had for each other is what dreams are made of. His love did not stop there, as he and Cindy have 7 wonderful children. A better father could not be found! Wayne had a servant’s heart, and was a Shepherd Elder for several families in the Middle East. He tended to the needs of the families, making sure that they were taken care of. Being a man of God, Wayne was active in his church, as a Church Chairman for Faith Church of the Valley. Not one for titles, or things, Wayne was people oriented. Helping people is what drove him, and he loved to serve, always being generous. Wayne also had a playful, and humorous side. His out-going nature led to him being the family’s social butterfly, as he made friends wherever he went.
Wayne is survived by his adoring wife, Cindy Jo Anderson, children Stacey Jo Anderson, Carley (Bryan) Spears, Madeline (Christian) Schuller, Tobin Anderson, Wayne Anderson Jr., Dorothy Jean Anderson, and Weston Anderson, grandchildren Colin Spears, Cecily Spears, and Owen Wayne Spears, his mother Elizabeth Anderson, and numerous brothers, sisters, nieces , and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father LeRoy Anderson. Arrangements are entrusted to Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and Funeral Care 6747 East Broadway Road Mesa, Arizona 85206 (480)830-4422.
