Bill was born in Coshocton Ohio on May 17, 1943. He served in the Army as a helicopter aviator in Vietnam in 1968 and returned for a second tour in 1971. He retired after 20 years as a Major and, together with his wife, moved from Puyallup Washington to Mesa AZ in 2015.
Bill is survived by his wife Karla, his daughter Christina Marie Lehman, his son Cray Emerson Jr. and 8 grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at Broadway Christian Church 7335 Broadway Rd Mesa at 11:00 AM on Saturday February 10, 2024.
