William Scorzetti Jr.

He was born in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey on May 19, 1933 to William and Sophie Scorzetti. He graduated from Lodi High School. He married Regina Fernandi on February 11, 1956 at the St. Michael’s Cathedral Church in Paterson, New Jersey. He lived in Arizona the past 33 years.

Bill was a business owner, owning & operating multiple bowling alleys. He also was a general foreman for a family-owned construction company for many years.

He proudly served in the U.S. Army as a military police officer and was stationed in Germany post occupation of the Korean War.

He excelled in sports as a Four Letter Athlete playing baseball, football, basketball and track in his high school career. His love of sports extended to him being a diehard fan of the New York Yankees and New York Giants. He loved going to the casino with his family and playing video poker as well as various slot machines. He loved to fish & had a passion for wine and cooking the most delicious family recipes.

He is predeceased by his loving wife Regina Scorzetti, his daughter Lisa LaCilento and his son William D Scorzetti. He is survived by his brother, Michael and his wife Lucille Scorzetti, his son, Steve and his wife Donna Scorzetti, his daughter Gina and her husband Michael Gaborick, his son-in-law Louis LaCilento and his grandchildren Cheryl Scorzetti, Billy and his wife Jessica Scorzetti, Anthony and his wife Jessica Scorzetti, David and his wife Anneka LaCilento, Kaylee and her husband Derrick Weire, Nick Leyva and his great grandchildren Michael, Dominic, Nora, Justice, Liberty, William and Jameson.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and Funeral Home, located at 400 South Power Road, Mesa, AZ, 85206, United States. The service is scheduled for September 11, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
