Yolanda Quiroz Pulido

Age, 68, of Mesa, AZ passed away on February 12, 2012. She was born to Frank and Mary Louise Quiroz on April 2, 1943 in Sonora, AZ. Yolanda was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister. She married Rudy Pulido on December 1, 1963. Yolanda and Rudy started their family and moved around the small mining town ending up in Kearny where they raised their 4 children. Yolanda devoted her life to her husband, children, grandchildren, and her parents. She loved to cook and made many wedding cakes for family and friends. Anyone who came across Yolanda just loved her. When moving from Kearny to Mesa Yolanda worked at M & M Food Market then moved to Food City. She was a cherished wife and best friend to Rudy, the greatest mother to Gina (Ruben) Serna, Rudy (Tiffany) Pulido, Yvonne (Charlie) Dominquez, and Yvette (Alex) Fernandez. She was an adored grandmother (Nana) to; Matthew, Jordan, Nelssen, Timmy Serna, Alex Jr., Alyssa Fernandez, Gabby, Tino, and Nico Pulido. Yolanda is survived by her mother Mary Louise Quiroz, brothers; Frankie (Cata) Quiroz, Bobby (Gloria) Quiroz, Tommy (Kathy) Quiroz, and sister Anna Maria Quiroz. She will join her father and beloved Sancho (Shih Tzu dog). Arrangements are entrusted to Melcher Chapel of the Roses, 43 S. Stapley Drive Mesa, Arizona 85204 (480) 964-4537. Funeral Mass will be Friday, February 17, 2012 at 10:00am at Christ the King Church. Internment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Hayden, Arizona at 2:00pm.
