Zivorad "Jack" Trickovic

Throughout his life, Jack lived in Serbia, Germany, Sweden, Canada, and the United States. He spoke several languages. Jack enjoyed watching basketball and soccer. His favorite teams were the Phoenix Suns and the Serbian Red Star. Jack played professional soccer in Yugoslavia and was the manager of the Toronto Serbian White Eagles Soccer Club. Jack and his family moved to Arizona in 1982 from Toronto. While in Arizona, Jack discovered a love for gardening and planting flowers. He also enjoyed camping and fishing at the Rim. In his later years, Jack especially enjoyed spending his time with his grandsons. Jack will be remembered by his family for his sense of humor.

Jack is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Antonija; sons, Nebojsa “Ned” Markovic and Marko Trickovic (Jennifer); daughter, Magdalena Alm; grandsons, Aleksander Trickovic and Christian Trickovic; and sisters, Jagoda Paunovic and Vukadinka Pejcinovski. He is preceded in death by his parents, Svetozar Trickovic and Jelica Trickovic; and sister, Zivadinka

A visitation for Jack will be held on Wednesday, July 30 from 5:00-8:00 pm at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and Funeral Care, 6747 East Broadway Road, Mesa, Arizona 85206. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 31 at 10:00 am at St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church, 4436 East McKinley Street, Phoenix, Arizona 85008. Burial will follow at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park.
