

Soon after graduation she moved to Dallas and began work at North American Aviation during the war. She soon met the love of her life while working there. John Calvin Morrow, Jr and Alice were married on April 8, 1944 in Frederick Oklahoma.
Alice accepted the Lord as her Savior on Easter Sunday 1946 and was baptized two weeks later. Alice and John were married a short 18 years. The Lord called John home in December of 1962 at the young age of 38 as he had been in bad health with cancer. Alice also 38, was left to raise their five children on her own. She made numerous sacrifices and at times struggled but always managed to take care of her children’s needs. Her children were very blessed with her love.
Alice and John were the parents of five children. Two son: Ron Morrow (wife Peggy) and Gary Morrow (wife Robbie , deceased 2002). Three daughters: Brenda Troy (husband Curtis), Janet LaTour (husband Vic.), Ruth Brown (husband Fred). Alice is also survived by eight grandchildren and their families- Jeff Morrow, John Morrow, Lisa Stevens, Marsha Tressler, Alice Sage, Rebecca Reed, Michelle Burns, Laura Brown, numerous great and great-great grandchildren, grandchildren by marriages, nieces and nephews and other extended family. Predeceased by three siblings Ona, Dorothy, Jim, son in law Bruce and other extended family.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, February 26, from 5PM to 8PM.
Mrs. Morrow’s funeral service will be held at Anderson-Clayton-Gonzalez funeral home in the chapel on Tuesday, February 27, at 10AM. She will be laid to rest at Restland Memorial Gardens, Dallas, following the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made in memory of Alice and John to the Alzheimer’s Association or American Cancer Society.
