Bennie Zientek Jr.

Bennie Zientek Jr. was born in Brenham, Texas, on June 25, 1955, to Bennie Sr. and Verdell (Giebler) Wilburn and went home to meet his Lord and Saviour on July 29, 2023, in Mesquite, Texas, at the age of 68. Bennie was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was also a devout member of the Dallas County Cowboy Church, where he enjoyed helping as a sound technician. Bennie loved grilling for his family, watching the Dallas Cowboys, driving his Chevy truck, and playing with his grandson. Bennie was a "master" painter and a member of the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades Industry. He was also sociable in all of his endeavors and always dedicated to helping others.

Bennie is survived by his wife Graciela E. Zientek, daughters Brittany Haws (Tyler Haws), Bethany Olmo (Louis Olmo), step-children Tiburcio Medrano Jr., Nicholas Medrano, Cristella Medrano (Eduardo Blanco), grandson Hudson Haws, and brother Gary Giebler (Ruth Giebler+). He is also survived by his dog, Igor.

Bennie is preceded in death by his mother Verdell Wilburn, father Bennie Sr., and sister Shirley Duckworth.

Memorial Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday August 3, 2023 at Anderson Clayton Gonzalez Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Billy Reed officiating.
