

Billy Everett Liebel, 88 years, left this earthly home on April 18, 2021 from Sachse, TX. He was born July 5, 1932 in Wilmer, TX to Frank Julius Liebel Jr. and Nettie Matilda Sanderson. Billy was raised in Wilmer where he attended and graduated from Wilmer-Hutchins High School in 1950. Following graduating Billy worked at Sears Roebuck & Co., until inducted in the Army and obtained the rank of CPL, he served during the Korean War from 1952-1954 in the Co B 16th Armed Engineer Battalion receiving the National Defense Service Medal. Billy met the love of his life Maggie Mae Fell and the two were married August 8, 1958 and had 62 wonderful years together raising two children and many grandchildren. He was a certified electrical repair technician with Sears Roebuck & Co. where he worked for more than 45 years before his retirement. In his spare time Billy enjoyed television repair, a fast game of 42 dominos, any game with the grandkids, mowing the churchyard, and keeping a huge garden where he shared the produce with others. His family will always remember him as an extremely honest, hardworking, dependable man with a dry wit and a man of few words, along with being a generous and loving Christian.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Nettie Liebel; brothers, Donald Ray Liebel and James Kenneth Liebel.
Left to cherish his memory is his devoted wife, Maggie; daughter Malinda Liebel Wilson and husband David; son Brent Everett Liebel and wife Sheila; grandson Jared Wilson and wife Autumn; granddaughters, Meredith Wilson, Olivia Liebel, Emma Liebel, and Clara Liebel; great-grand daughters Hannah, Ariana and Samantha Wilson; sisters Frankie Louise Liebel Self, Elizabeth Ann Liebel Hester, Janice Marie Liebel Miller, and many other extended family and friends.
