

Dixie Juanita “Nita” Isbell age 57 passed away on December 27th in Richardson, Texas. She was born on December 12, 1964, in Fort Worth, TX to Karl Harmon and Jackie Curtis. Nita was raised in Weed, New Mexico before moving to Lake Worth, TX. She graduated from TWC in 1992 with a degree in nursing. She moved to Tennessee in 1994 where she met and married her husband, Jeff Isbell. Nita worked as a registered nurse for Sincere Home Health Care at the time of her passing. She had worked as a nurse in both Texas and Tennessee for the past 30 years.
Nita is survived by her husband of 25 years, Jeff Isbell of Smyrna, TN; mother, Jackie Curtis of Sachse, TX; sisters, Judi Nochta and husband Jeff of OH, Christine Wagner and husband Donald of TX; sister-in-law, Patti Johnson and husband Kenny of TN; brother, Karl Harmon of AZ and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her father Karl Harmon; brother, Andy Wayne Harmon and sister, Debbie Evans.
Nita attended the Wylie Church of Christ and was involved with Widows and Widowers Club, and the Senior Center in Garland. In her spare time Nita enjoyed doing cross stitch, knitting, listening to music, watching movies playing online games, making new friends and she loved dogs and horses. Her family and friends will always remember her as loving, caring person who loved being a nurse and working with the elderly.
