Doris Jean James

Doris Jean James passed away on November 5, 2021in Mesquite Texas. She was born in Dallas Texas on September 3, 1931 to George and Faye Hudson. She proceeded by her husband John James she her son Richard James. She survived by her daughter Rebecca Tipping , Dr. Kyle James and wife Devonna James, and brother in law Bill James and wife Fran James. She had four grandchildren Jennifer Tipping, Samantha James, Jesse James and Frank James. She had four great grandchildren Cecilia Tipping, Tabitha Shaw, Luke Haire, Kyleigh James. Her siblings Randy Hudson and Karen Jackson and brother in law Jim crannell, and nieces and nephews. She proceeded by other siblings Linda, Norma, and Bill. She loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren and great children. She loved to sew when she could and loved to spend time with her church friends.

A visitation for Doris will be held Wednesday, November 10, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Anderson-Clayton-Gonzalez Funeral Home, 1111 Military Parkway, Mesquite, Texas 75149. A funeral service will occur Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 1111 Military Parkway, Mesquite, Texas 75149. A committal service will occur Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at Grove Hill Memorial Park, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, Texas 75228.
