Frances Zurline Stafford was born in Groesbeck, Texas on September 17, 1925. She passed away on August 12, 2021 in Mesquite, Texas. Frances graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School, then went onto marry the love of her life, Claude Ray Stafford. She was a faithful woman and dedicated parishioner at Shiloh Terrace Baptist Church for over 50 years. Frances was a thoughtful and kind person who devoted her life to being the best wife, loving mother, and lifelong friend to so many. She and her husband Ray were active members of the North Texas and East Texas Camping Square Dance Clubs for over 30 Years. She also enjoyed painting, cooking, traveling, and making beautiful memories with her family.
Frances is preceded in death by her husband, Claude Ray Stafford; her mother, Viola Oehlke; father, John Henry Morris; step-father, Dan Lee Shipp; daughter, Patricia Stafford; son, James Stafford. She is survived by her son, Benny Stafford and his wife, Elizabeth Stafford (Sunnyvale); daughter-in-law, Lori Stafford (Little Elm); grandchildren, Jamie Maxedon, Scott Stafford, Nicholas Stafford, and Nicole Stafford; and great-grandchildren, Callum Maxedon, Carson Stafford, Emerson Stafford, Knox Stafford, and Maisy Stafford.
