Frank was born February 24, 1931. He was 84. Passed away March 5, 2015. A Naive Dallasite, he attended Forest Ave. He was a veteran of Korea. After returning to the states, he caught the "Racing Bug". Along with Tommy Lister built their first race car. From then on he built his own race car "#2", Jerry Davis and Charlie Davidson both championship drivers. Then he went to fishing. He always had time to answer any questions one may have about racing. He is survived by Shirley d'Ablemont Medlin his wife of 61 years; son Jay Alan Medlin; one grandson Jacob Carroll; others Danny, Jeff, Steven and Tommy; also the "apple of his eye" Ashley & Nathan Gayden and of course Miss Emma; one brother Jack; three sisters Pat, Mary and Earlyne; many nieces and nephews; and many friends and neighbors. Services to be at DFW National Cemetery at a later date.
