Jonathan Joseph Spry was born April 5, 1987 alongside his twin brother. Born and raised in Bakersfield, California, Don and Jon were known as the BooBoos. Jon graduated from West High School in 2005. Right after graduating, he started working at Ross Dress for Less where he would meet his future wife, Alexis. Jon had a passion for music and would later make a name for himself as "Young Twin".
One thing about Jon was how passionate he was about family. In 2014, he and his wife would welcome their first son, Jacob "Pappito" Joseph Spry. Excited about becoming a father, Jon was there every step of the way, being the family man that he was. Jon enjoyed bringing family together and was all about making memories. He loved to cook, watch his favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys play, and just be around the people he loved.
In 2019, he welcomed his second son, Cedrick "Monster" James Spry. He would say that's his new heart. The boys brought joy to Jon and he loved every moment spent with them. Jon was a selfless person who would give you the shirt off his back. He did his best to make sure everyone around him was taken care of, whether it was just a text or phone call to say hi. He always said FAMILY IS EVERYTHING.
Jon left this earth on August 11, 2021 with his family beside him. He now gets to be with his loved ones on the other side - Papa, Uncle Goldie, Auntie Alice, Granny Rose, brother Antwine Davis, and Deandre "Tootsie" Spry; his father-in-law Ron, and his little angel - among many others.
Jonathan is survived by his wife Alexis and their two boys, Jacob and Cedrick Spry; mother, Sylvia Luckey; brother, Donovan Spry and wife, Latoya Spry; sisters, Shanica Moore and Anita Davis; along with many nieces, nephews, great-nephews, god children and friends who have become family.
His legacy and life will not go forgotten. In his voice "We All We Got!"
