Joseph "Joe" Dean Ambs

Joseph "Joe" Dean Ambs, age 63, of Grandview, Texas passed away on Monday, October 31, 2022 in Mesquite, Texas. Joe was born in Walla Walla, Washington on December 12, 1958 to parents Robert and Donna Ambs. Joe is preceded in death by his father Robert Ambs, grandparents Esther and Don Overturf, Joe and Vera Ambs, cousin Tom Ryder and Uncle Jack and Aunt Betty Ryder.

Joe is survived by his loving and faithful wife of 39 years Sue Ambs, sons Donald Smith and wife Teri, Joe Ambs II, daughter Melony Ambs, 1 granddaughter Emily Ambs, mother Donna Ambs, brother Kevin Ambs and wife Anne, sister Tammy Lauterberg, brother Don Ambs and wife Donden, sister Lisa Crow, and numerous nieces and nephews who dearly loved their favorite Uncle Joe. He also leaves behind good friends and Co-workers at Alexander's Mobility Services and numerous Truck Drivers as well as many other friends and family who are all left to cherish his life and legacy that he leaves behind.

Joe was passionate about BBQ, smoking his own meat, along with restoring his own vehicles. Joe was a true patriot and loved his Country will all of his heart and was proud to call himself an American. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him but his life, legacy and memory will live on in our heart's forever and his legacy will be passed down to future generations.
