Juanita "Gg" Cantu (Cantu) Hernandez

Juanita "GG" Cantu (Cantu) Hernandez, age 67, passed away on Sunday, March 14, 2021 in Dallas, Texas. "GG" was born April 27, 1953 in Dallas, Texas to Felipe and Margarita Cantu. Juanita was raised in Dallas, Texas and graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1971. She married Leon A. Hernandez in 1971 and the couple had three children. She was a front office manager at Mesquite Children's Clinic where she worked for more than 30 years.

In her spare time, Juanita enjoyed being with her family, her greatest joy was family. Her family and friends will always remember her as the most beautifulest, strongest, kind hearted, loving woman she was, she touched so many lives in her own special way.

Juanita is preceded in death by her husband, Leon A. Hernandez. She is survived by her 3 daughters, Alethea A. Hernandez, Evelina U. Alonzo and Valencia M. Garcia; son-in-laws, Trinidad Garcia, Jr. and Horacio Alonzo; 9 grandchildren, Jose, Destiny, Adrian, Horacio, Trinity, Sebastian, Alenamarie, Adam and Annalize; 5 great-grandchildren, Jose, Ethan, Scarlett, Isai and Lilliana; sister, Lupe Perez; brother, Chris Cantu, companion, Rex Hawley and a host of nieces and nephews.

A visitation for "GG" will be held Thursday, March 18, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Anderson Clayton Gonzalez Funeral Home, 1111 Military Parkway, Mesquite, Texas 75149. A funeral service will occur Friday, March 19, 2021 at 11:00 AM, 1111 Military Parkway, Mesquite, Texas 75149. A committal service will occur Friday, March 19, 2021 at Grove Hill Memorial Park, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, Texas 75228.
