Judith Wilson McDougal

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 8 2025, at Vertical Life Church in Mesquite.

Judith Ann Wilson was born on August 8, 1952, in Tupelo, Mississippi to Lamar and Mary Wilson. She married Larry McDougal on November 20, 1972 at Urban Park Assembly of God Church in Dallas. The couple moved to Garland in 1987 where they lived for the next 36 years.

Although our hearts are heavy, we know Judy is in a better place with the Lord. She believed in God and in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Judy worked in a day care and a travel agency over the years, but she spent most of her time as a homemaker caring for their two children, Brian and Melissa.

Judy loved going to church, dogs, spending time with family, reading books, playing games, and helping others. She was loved and will be missed.

She is survived by her husband Larry Curtis McDougal, children, Jonathan Brian McDougal and wife Julie Edmonds McDougal of Terrell and Melissa Ann Mathew and her husband Michael Donovan Mathew of Garland, grandchildren Cori Paige McDougal, Isaac Donovan Mathew, Bryce Alexander McDougal, Alexis Nicole Mathew, and Olivia Rose Mathew, and sister Patsy Santos.

She was preceded in death by parents Lamar and Mary and her brother George.
