Passed away on May 24, 2016. She was born on August 1, 1936 to James and Imogene Morrow in Texarkana, Texas. Kathryn worked as a switch board operator most of her life. Her favorite color was pink. She played the organ and was happiest around people. She loved to have company and socialize. Kathryn is survived by her son, Randy Chamberlain and wife Martha; grandson, Patrick Shanafelt; granddaughters, Alexandra Shanafelt, and Tiffany Chamberlain; and a host of other family and friends. She is preceded by her parents; husband, Hollis Welton Chamberlain; and son, Ronny Welton Chamberlain. Visitation for Kathryn will be on Friday, May 27, 2016 at Gonzalez Funeral Home and Crematory from 6-8 pm. Services will be on Saturday, May 28, 2016 in the Chapel at Gonzalez at 11:00 AM with interment to follow at Laurel Oaks Memorial Park.
