Kimberly Jean Schulze

Kimberly married Howard A Schulze Jr in 1994 and took on the role of step-mom to his 3 children (Darice, Scott & Corinne) like they were her own.

In her spare time, Kimberly enjoyed plants/flowers, laying out by the pool, dancing and road trips with Howard, NASCAR, watching football-especially her beloved Denver Broncos, collecting anything Willie Nelson, going to the movies and spending time with her grandchildren.

Her family and friends will always remember her as a kind, fun, caring person who enjoyed her family, loved anything purple, traveling and laughing with her grandkids. She loved people and children and looked forward to family gatherings when everyone was able to be together. She was the true definition of a true friend and confidant; always willing to lend a ear for whatever you wanted or needed to talk about. She loved animals and donated monthly to the human society and the ASPCA and would have rescued all the homeless cats if she could.

She is preceded in death by her parents Douglas & Audrey Erickson, brothers Dean & John Erickson and son Scott Schulze.

Kimberly is survived by her husband Howard; brother Bruce Erickson; sister-in-laws Pat & Pam Erickson, Donna (Don) Pinkos; niece Kate Erickson, nephew Jared Erickson; children Darice (Freeman) Koon, Corinne (Kenton) Roberts; grandchildren Kaycee (Robert) Braley, Blake & Stormy Wallbrecher, Serena Koon, Wayne & Shawn Roberts; great-grandchildren Skylar Price, Sophia & Nathaniel Braley.

A celebration of life for Kimberly will be held Monday, March 15, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Anderson Clayton Gonzalez Funeral Home, 1111 Military Pkwy, Mesquite, Texas 75149.
