Maria Guadalupe Gomez

Maria Guadalupe Gomez, age 81, passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023 in Dallas, Texas. She was born on March 03, 1942 in Purépero Michoacan to Benito Ortiz and Maria Luisa Espinoza. Maria was raised in Purépero Michoacan, Mexico, married Roberto Gomez and the couple had 8 children. She was an amazing mother and an incredible grandmother.

In her spare time Maria enjoyed spending time with her family and gathering at all the special events. Maria was the first one to show up and the last one to leave. She would always try to feed you, even if you were not hungry. Maria loved to go to the casino and play poker with her family. Her family and friends will always remember her as a strong-willed woman who was a fighter. She loved her children and grandchildren with all the love she could possibly give.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Roberto Gomez. Maria leaves behind a legacy of children and grandchildren who will never forget her.

A visitación for Maria will be held Monday, November 27, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Anderson-Clayton-Gonzalez Funeral Home, 1111 Military Pkwy, Mesquite, Texas 75149 with Rosary at 6:30 PM . A servicio funerario will occur Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 1054 N St Augustine Rd, Dallas, Texas 75217.
