Mary retired from Walmart after 25 years. She enjoyed word searches, shopping and cooking, but most of all, spending time with her family including her stepmother Luz and Aunt Minnie.
Mary is preceded in death by her daughter JoAnn Warren, sisters Kate Hernandez and Theresa Medina. Survived by daughter Ramona Carrigan, son Perry Vela, grandchildren Selena, Erika, Zachary, Connell, great-grandchildren Logan, Evelyn and Vivian. Mary’s siblings Olivia, Barbara, Nancy, Henry, Raymond, Stanley, Louis and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Mary will be held Monday, January 27, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Anderson Clayton Gonzalez Funeral Home, 1111 Military Parkway, Mesquite, Texas 75149. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, January 28, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 1111 Military Parkway, Mesquite, Texas 75149. A committal will occur Tuesday, January 28, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, Texas 75220.
Mary will be laid to rest in Calvary Hill Cemetery, 3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, TX 75220-3338; SOUTHWEST CIRCLE; Lot: 30, Grave: 4.
