W.E. “Dusty” Miller, age 90, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2017 in Dallas, Texas. He was born on October 20, 1926 in Athens, Texas to William English, Sr. and Alice Ward Miller. “Dusty” was raised near Athens and graduated from Athens High School in 1945.
“Dusty” was a truck driver at Union Pacific Motor Freight where he worked for more than 47 years.
He was a long-time member and Deacon at Bethany Baptist Church, 7300 Bruton Road Dallas, Texas 75217.
He married Jo E. Williams in 1973. She preceded him in death in 2004. He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers Bill Miller and Roy Miller; and one sister Dorothy Young. “Dusty” is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, as well as his brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws.
Visitation will take place the morning of Thursday, March 9, 2017 between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM at Bethany Baptist Church located at 7300 Bruton Road, Dallas, Texas 75217 with a service to follow at 12:00 PM. Burial will take place at Restland Memorial Park at 2:00 PM.
