Yvonne Marie Cantu

Yvonne Marie Cantu, 53 left this earthly home on December 19,2020 in Carmel, New York. She was born June 19,1967 in Dallas, Texas to Ignacio Cantu Sr. and Maria Andrea Leal Cantu. Yvonne was a sweet innocent soul sent to us so we could see the world through her eyes. She loved life and tried to share it with everyone she met. In our travels she never met a stranger. Yvonne was always full of life, happy with a big smile and a twinkle in her eyes. She kept busy with her many activities, which included her love of music, color by numbers, painting with stickers , activity books and visiting with family and friends. She loved going out to eat and going to see a movie. Yvonnie was a bright light in our lives and in everyone she touched. She will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Ignacio Cantu Sr. and Maria Andrea Cantu.

Yvonne is survived by her siblings; sister, Sylvia Cantu, sister, Cindy Swope and husband Allen, brother, Ignacio Cantu Jr.; Nieces, Shantelle Casey and husband Brad, Cynthia Hoare and husband Stephen, Althea Swope, Amber Cantu; Great nieces and nephews, William Casey, Katherine Casey, Arron Hoare, Victoria Hoare, Claudia Hoare, Lily, and Adrian; and her Uncle Pete
