On the sunny afternoon of Wednesday, March 27th, 2013, “Desha” Ricks gave her farewell wishes to her loving children: Lainey, Drew, and Mikey Ricks. She will be continually missed by Aloma, Fred, Donell, Steve, Tommy, Michael, Lauren, Lindsey, and each of their families who loved her so dearly, and the many faces that she has brought a smile to throughout the years. All are invited to attend her Celebration of Life at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 from 11:00 AM till 2:00 PM followed by Words of Remembrance. Interment will be held at a later date.
