Agnes Bordelon Roques

Agnes Bordelon Roques, age 85, ascended into Heaven to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 14, 2014. Mrs. Roques was a native of Bordelonville, LA and a resident of Jefferson, LA for 60 years. Beloved wife of Rene (Rock) Roques, Sr. for 60 years. Best mother in the whole world to Rene Roques, Jr. (Nona), Mary Rholdon (Mike) and the late Kenneth Roques. Devoted Maw Maw of Allison, Adrianne, Cale, Corey, Jennie, Kenny, Jr., and Stephen. Devoted great Maw Maw of Emma, Kayson, Vincenza and Quinn. Also survived and loved by many family members and friends. Mrs. Roques was a very loving and generous lady. She spent her entire life caring for others, always putting family and friends needs first. She loved Christmas time and always made the season very special for her family. She was very devoted to her family and to her religion and was a parishioner of St. Agnes Church. Mrs. Roques was greatly loved and will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she so beautifully touched. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, LA on Saturday, January 18, 2014 beginning at 9:00 AM with a Funeral Mass to follow at 1:00 PM in Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home’s Chapel.
