Allen F. Dugas Sr.

Devoted husband of Ruth Haas Dugas of 60 years. Loving father of Allen Dugas, Jr., Jill Dugas Coursey and Tonia Marie Dugas.

Proud grandfather of eight grandchildren; Kellie Benton Presswood, Christopher and Kevin Benton; John and Jaimie Wells; Brittany, Tyler and Zachary Dugas; and great grandfather of Emerson Clair Presswood.

Son of the late Irene D’Arensbourg Dugas and Elphage F. Dugas. Brother of Theresa Dugas Champagne (Johnny) and the late Percy Dugas (Ernie) and Ethel Dugas Abee (Russell). He is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

Age 84, a native of Luling, LA and a resident of Tickfaw for the past 20 years. A World War II Navy Veteran and retired from the American Cyanamid (Cytec) after 35 years of service.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at 11:00 am at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie. Visitation from 9:30 am until funeral time. Interment in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
