Alvin Edward Pritchett Jr. passed away on Thursday July 11, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Karin Conners Pritchett. Loving father of Shelly Melton and Shannon Pritchett Kottemann (and husband, Matthew). Devoted grandfather of Lucy, Isabella and Eva. Son of the late Shirley Jouet and Alvin Edward Pritchett Sr. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Mr. Pritchett was a Licensed Plumber employed by Gallo Mechanical, a member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Union Local #60 and will always be loved and remembered by all who knew him. Aged 58 years, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and a resident of Metairie, Louisiana for the past 35 years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service from Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home Chapel 4747 Veterans Blvd. Metairie, on Wednesday July 17, at 11:00 a.m. Interment in St. Louis Cemetery #3.
