He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Metairie, LA. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 44 years, Linda Hernaez. He is survived by his three children, Maria Hernaez, Adrianna Hernaez Hanrahan and Anthony A. "Tonino" Hernaez, Jr. and four grandchildren, Francisco Hernaez, Robbie Hernaez, William Hanrahan and Olivia Hanrahan.
