Anthony Ignazio Lauto

Anthony Ignazio Lauto, age 81, entered into rest on Monday, April 2, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Lauto was a native of New York City, NY, a former resident of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Metairie, LA for the past 20 years. Beloved husband of Joyce Fanning Lauto for 59 years. Father of Anthony S. Lauto, Ronald J. Lauto (wife, Rosary Alvarez), Pamela M. Shaughnessy (husband, Pat), Kathy A. Chauvin (husband, Bradley) and Carl C. Lauto (wife, Paula). Grandfather of Alex Lauto, Bradley Chauvin, Jr., Kaitlyn Shaughnessy, Matthew Lauto, Megan Shaughnessy, Jade Alvarez-Lauto, Margaret Shaughnessy, Ali Chauvin, Haley Alvarez-Lauto and Jack Lauto. Son of the late Anna and Saverio Lauto. Mr. Lauto was a retired Senior Architect for the New Orleans Aviation Board and Lockheed Martin. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, a graduate of LSU and a parishioner of St. Ann Church. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie on Saturday morning, April 7, 2018 from 9:00 AM until 11:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Ann Church, 3601 Transcontinental Drive in Metairie at 12:00 noon.
