Ariel Arturo Cruz Benedith

Nos entristece anunciar el fallecimiento de Ariel Arturo Cruz Benedith (Chaca) originario de Tornabe, Tela Atlantida Honduras. Ariel murió a la edad de 26 años el día martes 18 de julio de 2023. La causa, una lesión cerebral causada por un accidente automovilístico en el estado de Louisiana el día 5 de abril de 2023.

Le sobrevive su pareja Neiyelin Suazo, su hijo Iker Suazo, su padre Arturo Cruz Estrada, su tía Judith Cruz Estrada, quien fue su figura materna. Ariel ha dejado a su familia y una comunidad entera desolada.

Chaca, como es mejor conocido, creció al lado de su padre quien lo instruyó desde muy pequeño. Como producto de la enseñanza de su padre, Chaca era un hombre trabajador y perseverante. Emigró a los Estados Unidos en busca de un mejor futuro y en muy poco tiempo iba cumpliendo sus metas. Su fuerza y motor eran su hijo Iker y su padre Arturo.

Ariel llenaba cualquier espacio con su alegría y ocurrencias. Donde estaba Chaca, no había tristeza. La pasión por el fútbol y el amor por el equipo Real Madrid CF lo llevó a nombrar a su único hijo “Iker” en celebración al portero del Real Madrid Iker Casillas.

Familia, amigos, y compañeros nos quedamos sabiendo que Dios no nos da carga que no podamos soportar. Esta gran carga de dolor que arde en nuestros pechos, nuestro Dios la ira aliviando. No es tiempo de cuestionarnos sino de acercarnos más a Dios. La paz de Dios que sobrepasa todo entendimiento, guardará vuestros corazones y vuestros pensamientos en Cristo Jesus. (Fil 4:7)

We are saddened to announce the passing of Ariel Arturo Cruz Benedith (Chaca) originally from Tornabe, Tela Atlantida Honduras. Ariel died at the age of 26 on Tuesday, July 18, 2023. The cause, was a brain injury caused by a car accident in the state of Louisiana on April 5, 2023.

He is survived by his partner Neiyelin Suazo, his son Iker Suazo, his father Arturo Cruz Estrada, his aunt Judith Cruz Estrada, who was his mother figure. Ariel has left his family and an entire community devastated.

Chaca, as he is better known, grew up next to his father, who instructed him from a very young age. As a product of his father's education, Chaca was a hardworking and persevering man. He emigrated to the United States in search of a better future and in a very short time he was going to achieve his goals. His strength and motor were his son Iker and his father Arturo.

Ariel filled any space with his joy and witticisms. Where Chaca was, there was no sadness. His passion for soccer and love for the Real Madrid CF team led him to name his only son “Iker” in celebration of Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas.

Family, friends, and colleagues are left knowing that God does not give us a burden that we cannot bear. This great load of pain that burns in our chests, our God will relieve it. It is not time to question ourselves but to get closer to God. The peace of God that surpassed all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7)
