Arlyne G. Radford

Arlyne G. Radford, age 82, of Destrehan, Louisiana passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 6, 2023, with her loving family by her side. She is preceded in death by her parents, the late Milford G. Grindol and Vivian M. Chiles Grindol, a son, Patrick A. Courtney, and her brothers, Thomas and George Grindol. She is survived by her loving children, Judy M. Courtney, Thomas O. Courtney III, and Kelly C. Torres, her grandchildren, Dillon A. Courtney, Sophia M. Rabito, Samantha Batchelor (Larry), Thomas O. Courtney IV, Jennifer Vicknair (Jordan), Melissa C. Fisher, Isabella R. Torres, and DonDiego C. Torres, several great-grandchildren, her sister Betty Grindol, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Arlyne was raised on a farm in Kansas and moved down south in her early 20s. She made her home along the Gulf Coast, finally settling in Saint Charles Parish, Louisiana. Arlyne’s strong work ethic was a quality people respected and admired. She instilled that into her children and grandchildren. Arlyne treated everyone she met with patience and love. She will truly be missed by all.

A Visitation for Arlyne will be held at 4747 Veterans Memorial Boulevard, Metairie, Louisiana 70006 on Monday, May 22, 2023, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Following the visitation will be a Celebration of Life Service at 1:00 pm at the Leitz-Eagan Chapel.
