Barbara Eleanor Fray

Barbara Eleanor Fray, age 93, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, March 3, 2013. Lifetime companion of Ernest Thomas Laborde. Beloved mother of John E. Melady, III (Debbie), Tricia J. Melady, Susan M. Jones (Philip) and the late William T. Melady and Barbara M. Sickafoose. Grandmother of Dickie Friedrichs, Rachael Tadlock Grimillion, M.D., Tommy A. Sickafoose, John E. Melady IV, Tommy A. Melady, Amber Sickafoose, Joey Tadlock, Michael Melady and the late Angela M. Gray. Also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Sister of William Fray, Ralph Fray, Robert Fray, and the late Alvin Fray. Daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William H. Fray.

A native of New Orleans, LA and a longtime resident of Metairie, LA. Before retiring, she was the principal’s secretary at T.H. Harris in Jefferson Parish for 24 years.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Service at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, LA on Friday, March 8, 2013 at 2:00PM. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until service time. Inurnment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
