Betty Hughes Montreuil

Devoted wife of the late Harold L. Montreuil of 44 years.

Loving mother of Harold (Wanita), James (Pam), Timothy (Deborah), Richard (Sharon), Bruce (Maria), Donald (Glenda), Judy Hauth (Terry), Edward (Joan), Michael (Deborah), and Connie Lopez (Miguel) and the late Patricia and David Montreuil. She was also survived by daughter-in-law Barbara Montreuil.

She was the loving grandmother of 41 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.

Daughter of the late Loretta Denmarsh and James Wilbur Hughes.

Sister of Gerri Fisch and the late Henry Fisch, Helen and Norbert Metz and the late James Hughes.

Elizabeth was also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends

Age 88, a native of Cleveland, Ohio and a lifelong resident of Kenner, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at 9:00 am on Friday, October 29, 2010 at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie. Visitation on Thursday, October 28, 2010 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Friday from 8:00 AM until 9:00 AM Mass time.
