Carol Price Held

Carol Price Held, age 86, of Jefferson, LA, entered into eternal rest on November 14, 2024. For 40 years, she was the wife of the late Andrew Louis Held, Jr. Carol was born in Boston, Massachusetts, to the late Thelma and Walter Price. She was a sibling to one brother and seven sisters.

Carol’s greatest joy was the years of service as a waitress at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse on Broad St. It was there that she established her lifelong friendship with Ruth Fertel. Carol also established many relationships with celebrities and locals during her years of service. Carol loved conversation and sharing stories of all the people she met in these years. She was also a member of the Jefferson Senior Center for approximately three years. Carol always had a kind word to say to her family and friends, which she adored.

Carol is survived by her three children, Andrew Held III, Walter Held (Leona), and Lillian Centanni (Bruce). She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, Jasmine, Andrew IV, Blane, Walter Jr., Sachea’, Sarah, and Brian, along with nine great-grandchildren, Leira, Sylas, Liyria, Hailey, Andrew V, Michael, Benjamin, Jorden, and Cameron. Carol is preceded in death by her great-granddaughter Pipier.
