Carole C. Lumpkin

Carole Catherine Lumpkin, age 81, of Metairie, Louisiana passed away peacefully on October 8, 2017. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. Carole graduated from Redemptorist High School in New Orleans, where she was the Homecoming Queen, and attended UNO. She worked as a clerical employee for Jefferson Parish. She is preceded in death by her parents, Sidney W. Lumpkin and Florence Seibrandt Lumpkin, and her brother; Ronald Lumpkin. She is survived by her children; Joelle B. Mallott, Mark J. Boudreaux, and Donna Boudreaux Robino (Johnny), grandchildren; Ryan Currera, Michael D. Currera and Justin Mallott, great-granddaughter; Ali Lynn Currera, brothers; Glenn P. Lumpkin, and Wayne C. Lumpkin, and numerous nieces and nephews. Carole loved cooking and being together with her family and friends, she also loved singing and playing the organ with various churches. She will fondly be remembered by all who knew and loved her. Friends and family are invited to attend a Visitation that will be held at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, Louisiana on Wednesday, October 11, 20017 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in the Chapel at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home.
