Carolyn B. Terranova

Carolyn B. Terranova, age 75, passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2012 at home after a short but courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving daughters. Mrs. Terranova was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Metairie, LA for the past 52 years. She was the beloved wife of the late Jack Terranova. Cherished mother of Kim Marie Terranova Padilla, Karen Terranova Peterson (Grant) and Kelly Terranova Siegler (David). Precious grandmother of Derek, Drew and Ross. Great grandmother of Colin. Godmother of Heather. Sister of Mary Grace Cutting and Charles Benedetto. Daughter of the late George and Anna Benedetto. Mrs. Terranova was a graduate of Mercy Hospital School of Nursing and worked as a registered nurse specializing in treating chronic pain and weight management. She was also a lifelong member of the Crusaders Garden Guild for more than 50 years, an organization often recognized for their charitable work and contributions to the community. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, LA on Wednesday evening, May 16, 2012 beginning at 5:00 PM with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM in Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home’s chapel.
