Charles Lester Lombard

Charles Lester Lombard, affectionately known as Grumpy, age 78, of Gonzales, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022. Charles was born on August 26, 1943. He is preceded in death by his parents, the late Emmanuel C. Lombard and Edna Rowley Lombard, his loving wife Diana Prampin Lombard, sisters Catherine L. Neveaux and Sharon L. Paul, and a brother, Lionel Lombard. He is survived by his children Dina Lombard Hose (Christopher), and Kellie Ann Lombard, grandchildren, Troy Lewis, Jr., Blake Lewis (Chloe), and Isabella Lombard, and his longtime companion, Brenda Bourne, his brother, Emanuel Lombard (Ethel), nephew, Mark S. Paul, along with a host of nieces and nephews.

He proudly served in the United States Air Force and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Grumpy Old Men Car Club in Prairieville. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, building hot rods, attending car shows, and helping anyone at any time with anything they needed. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

In keeping with Grumpy's wishes, there will be no services held.
