

Cheryl Ann Arnold, age 75, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2023 at home surrounded by her family after a short battle with cancer. Cheryl was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Metairie, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Aline E. Constantine Arnold and Horace E. Arnold. She is survived by her brother, Richard Allen “Butch” Arnold (Joanne); her nieces and nephews, Amanda Arnold Hoerner (Bobby), Dublin, Keegan, Vanessa and Victoria Arnold; her beloved aunts, Leonie Eleanora ”Nora” Constantine and Phyllis M. Constantine; many beloved aunts and cousins, Steve Constantine, Phyllis A. Constantine, George P. Constantine, Sr. (Lydia), Donald A. Constantine (Nancy), Sharon C. Terrebonne (Steve), Michael J. Constantine (Christina) and Kevin Constantine; her Godchildren, Donald A. Constantine, Kevin Michael Constantine and Thomas “T.J.” Terrebonne and she is also survived and loved by many family members and friends. Cheryl was a graduate of Riverdale High School in Metairie, LA. She worked at Allstate, GMAC/MIC and after a career shift she took a position with LSU School of Dentistry in the Dental Medicaid Program where she worked until she retired. Cheryl was an accomplished roller skater, an avid reader and a devout Christian who was very devoted to her Catholic faith. She enjoyed going to the movies and loved her animals, both dogs and cats. She had wonderful smile that could light up a room. She was a very sweet, loving and generous person. Cheryl’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Hospice Compassus for their wonderful care and compassion. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, LA on Thursday, April 20, 2023 beginning at 9:00 AM with a Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 AM in Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home’s chapel. Interment will be in Greenwood Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Louisiana SPCA or Masses may be offered.
