Christopher "Mark" Strain

Christopher “Mark” Strain passed away on November 21, 2020 in Arizona at the age of 52. Mark was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. He is survived by his loving wife, Debra A. Strain and his children, Derek White (girlfriend Katie), Beth Strain, and Adam Strain (girlfriend Jessica). Step-father of Nicole Brown, Danielle Gonzales (Leighton), Darien Miller, Marcel Miller, and Jesse Miller (Lin); grandfather of Logan, Eli, Lana, Lora, Cameron, Lilly, and Lacey. He is also survived by his parents, Ann and Don Strain, his brothers, Darryl Lilley and Rodney Lilley (George), his nephew, Dru Lilley, and numerous family members. He was preceded in death by his former wife, Andrea Collier Strain.

At a young age, Mark decided to proudly serve his country in the Navy. Mark enjoyed traveling as much as he could. Everywhere he went he made friends. He had one of those personalities that never knew a stranger. As much as Mark loved a good cookout or a glass of wine, he most importantly enjoyed the time he spent with his family. He loved his family dearly and the family dog, Ppo Ppo. His infectious smile will be greatly missed by all of those who knew and loved him.

Relatives and friend are invited to attend a night wake on Thursday, December 3, 2020 from 5PM till 8PM at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, LA 70006, the Funeral Service will be held on on Friday, December 4, 2020 at 9AM. The burial will follow at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Slidell, LA.
