Dearest Cindi,
You set such an example for us on how to live - with faith, love for family, zest, kindness, empathy and compassion.  I am proud to call you my "sister of the heart".  You have always been a part of my life, as a playmate and through our adult life. 
I know you are in heaven with Our Lord and his Mother Mary.  I continue to pray for you and for your family.  I know you are listening when I talk to you...you are never far from my thoughts. Til we meet again, I will miss you.

I will always remember the lessons I learned from Cindi.  When I was a new nurse on 2E, she never got tired of my questions.  She was always willing to lend a hand or give advice.  I am so sorry for your loss.  Your family will be in my prayers.

To the Fryoux family: Almost 5 years ago, I had to have quintuple bypass surgery at EJ. I was only 42 at the time. Cindi came to my room in the CCU to share with me that she had been through a similar experience. She may not have know how much seeing her helped me. I was so afraid, but here whe was, a beautiful woman encouraging me. I appreciated it so very much, and have thought of her often. I just wanted you to know how she truly helped me at a time when I really needed it and I will always be grateful for that. May God bless each of you with strength and comfort.

Oren, My prayers are with you and your family.

I painted my nails purple for your service tomorrow because I know that's your favorite color.  I've been sleeping with the doll you gave me as a child (Miney) since you first got sick.  And know that when I walk across the stage to get my degree in medicine, it's in your honor.  I couldn't have done it without you.   

I love you and miss you terribly.  Please hug Maw Maw and Paw Paw for me up there.

The sorrow of the faithful is not that of permanent loss, but the tender sense of sadness that comes in saying good-bye for now to someone we love. 
May today's sorrow give way to the peace and comfort of God's love.

One of the many joys of our job is meeting and becoming friends with our customers.  You were one of those friends.  We will miss hearing stories of weekends with "the girls" and ghost stories from the Myrtles. We hope they have "good tea" in heaven for you. Cindi, God truly has an angel in heaven now, you will be missed by so many, you have touched so many people with you kindness and caring, you were made to be a nurse, thats just the way you were.  It will be difficult not to be able to enjoy your smile at family gatherings but you know you will always be part of it just like our grandparents wanted it to be. There are very few people on this earth who touch the lives of those around them the way that Cindi did.  Her kindness and compassion for everyone placed her on a level to which most saintly beings can only aspire.  Her laugh, her humor, her strength, and her unconditional love - those are all of the things I will remember most about my aunt. 

The world lost an amazing human being the day that Cindi passed, and even though her passing was much too soon, I know that her body is completely restored and she's comforted in the arms of God and my grandparents.  I can only imagine how sweet that reunion was.  I can hear Aunt Cindi in my thoughts telling me (and all of us) to not be sad but to rejoice that she's healthy in mind and body again and spending the rest of eternity with her loving parents and other family members who have gone on before her.    

I love you so much, Aunt Cindi.  My heart hurts to know I'll never hear your earthly laugh again, but I know that one day we will be reunited in heaven, and it will be the most amazing family reunion ever.

You were more than my sister you were my friend.  After mama died I looked to you for love and support and you always gave it.  I am so sad I can't even express it in words.  You were so young and vibrant, this was not supposed to happen.  I know you are safe in the arms of Jesus and are happy to be with mama and daddy and Ms Elsie and all of our other loved ones who have gone before.  I am selfish,  I want you back here with us I want to hear your voice again.  I know I will see you again but i willmiss you.  The world is not the same without you.  I love you.

I worked with Cindi for many years at East Jefferson and I remember her kindness and loving ways towards all patients and staff as well, she was a wonderful person to be around, she will be missed

I will miss your loving smile and the good times we have had playing cards together.  We weren't that close but when you were around you brightened up the room and you made me feel like the best of friends.  I loved to hear you talked about your boys, daughter-in-law's, grandchildren and family. I could see and hear the love you had for all of them through your words and actions. This was way too soon I just knew we would get together again.  I will miss you. Rest in Peace my friend.

I know you know how much I loved you. I just wish I had one more chance to tell you. I would give anything for one more lunch date or one more family gathering. This was never supposed to happen. I wish I could have helped you more. I will always keep a part of you with me in my heart, and I will do my best to make you proud of my career as a nurse. Watch over us down here and send our love to those up there. This is "see you later" not "goodbye" I love you. Rest in Peace. - Love Heather
