Also survived by other relatives, many friends and his pet companion, “Nico”.
Mr. Faia was a loving husband, father, son and a friend to all.
He enjoyed spending time with his family.
His favorite passage was Luke 15: 11-32, the Story of the Prodigal Son and thought of himself as the Prodigal Son who found his way home.
He will be always loved and remembered by all who knew him.
Aged 46 years, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and a lifelong resident of Metairie, Louisiana.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass from Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home Chapel 4747 Veterans Blvd. Metairie, on Thursday morning, January 9, 2014 at 11:00 a.m.
Interment will be in Cypress Grove Cemetery.
